Rooms & Suites

Wide pine floors hold the mystery of centuries of footsteps that have come before you. Queen Anne furnishings and period antiques adorn the 22 guest rooms and three suites, dining rooms, and common areas. The inn is carefully restored to maintain as much of the 19th-century character and charm as possible, while adding modern conveniences like private baths, wireless internet, cable TV, and air-conditioning for all the guest rooms. Each room and nuance of the inn has its own unique story to tell. If you listen carefully, you’ll hear the whispers of history.

Everything we were looking for from a Vermont Inn (and we are from Bklyn & Chicago!). The room was spacious, cozy and had wonderful wide wood floorboards (character, character!). The bathroom was modern and large. We had a fabulous dinner in the restaurant and one evening we scored the best seats in the house and dined in front of the crackling wood fireplace. I am still thinking about the pepper-crusted sirloin and potato galette...

There is no place like home...unless you stay at the Quechee Inn at Marshland Farm! Upon arrival you are greeted by friendly staff and a lovely great room with a roaring fire, coffee, tea, hot chocolate (and cookies, pre Covid). The rooms are unique, spacious and cozy. We stay at the Inn often during the winter months and head to Killington Mountain during the day. The hardy breakfast is a great beginning to each day and dinner is a delicious and elegant event. All meals are served on white linen covered tables with fresh flowers. Rick and the staff are attentive and helpful in planning your stay. We know the staff by name and they know ours. So, going to the Quechee Inn is always like going home to Vermont. Choose the Quechee Inn for a getaway...you will be glad you did!

Wow is this place just lovely. Everyone who works here is so kind and nice and fun to be around. I know you’re maybe thinking why that matters but it does! You can (and should) eat dinner at the Inn - it was one of my favorite meals in all of VT and hang by the bar and fireplace / library afterwards. Plus a complimentary breakfast! Our waitress Danielle and bartender Mike were gems! I had never stayed at a small town inn so I didn’t know what to expect and hesitated when booking. Would I feel weird? Would it be like staying in a bedroom of my distant relative but it was so great. Also the bathroom in our room was nicer than the one in our Hilton in Burlington so no need to question if the amenities are up to date. The bed was comfy, everything was so clean. I can’t wait to go back!

From the grounds to the interior, from the staff to the meals - everything was more than perfect. I don't think I've ever been more comfortable in a hotel. I would not call it luxurious, but it had such a unique rustic charm with an elegant air I could not stop wishing we could stay longer. The main room to congregate was probably my favorite space; lots of comfortable seating, a wood-burning fireplace...
